My review of CSL PLASMA in southfield, MI

Recently I went to donate some plasma at CSL PLASMA in southfield, MI on greenfield in between 8 and 9 mile roads by the old northland mall. My overall experience was a delight, the staff were very nice and they explained the donation process to in a way that I could understand. When going to donate for your first time give yourself at least 3-4 hours to be at the center but once your in the system and donate on a regular basis you should only be at the center for about 2 hours. Times may also vary on if they are short on staff, or even if there is a lot if other donors if this shall happen be patient and calm so you do not raise your blood pressure or your pulse so you can donate.  Eat plenty of protein rich foods as well as iron rich foods because they do check both every time you go to donate. They also check your temperature every time you go to donate.  Every time you go to donate the first thing that you do is go to one of the kiosks and answer the questions then you go wait in line to get your vitals taken and then if your cleared to donate then you will go onto the donor floor and wait for an available bed then once you get a bed you will be hooked up to the machine and your donation process will almost be over.  The final step to the donation process is them taking you off the machine and you going to the computer to check your card balance to make sure that your payment was posted to your card. Once you have done that then you ate done with the whole donation process.  The staff is friendly and if you have any questions or concerns they will gladly answer them for you. The only problem that I had was sometimes the kiosk may freeze up on you but just alert the staff and they will help you. Below are some pictures that I got off their website as well as a link to a video that is on the website.    Csl Plasma donation video
